About the Author Born in 1944 to a Christian family, going to church and living a moral life was expected of me. My family consisted of three brothers and three sisters. When I was three, my dad had an accident, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down. I married at age eighteen. We were blessed with one daughter, three sons, nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. God gives them to us to enjoy, sometimes for a long time, others not so long. God's ways are not our ways; God doesn't make any mistakes. He does promise to be there with us through all our trials.
