Imagine, if you will, the sound of the wind as we know it. Now think of the wind being all the negative chatter, the doubt, the fear, the disapprovals. Listen closer! Do you hear it? Someone is trying to tell you something, but you really have to lean in.Most often we go through our day not expecting to be interrupted although that is what happens more often than not. LOL. What about the moments when suddenly you hear a message, in a whisper, that makes you smile, or makes you laugh or makes you cry happy tears or even makes you feel incredibly qualified and strong, unexpectedly, in the moment?I believe that these are the moments when we most need a word, to feel connected, to be reminded of who we are and whose we are, to stay focused on our assignment and stay in action, but most importantly, these are the moments when we should readily let go of whatever we think we have or want, and grab hold of what we may not understand, yet need. And once we do, we allow the peace and blessing to flow through us and for us. In that very moment, we are in position to appreciate that which is not in our control and take charge of what we can.This book is written by individuals who have leaned in, listened and experienced, where the whisper, in the midst of our windy moment, has allowed the good flow of mixed emotions to take form so that we could capture the message of love, life and gratitude. As a result, we know that this message is about us, just not necessarily for us, alone, as we re-affirm our position in this world and prepare for what we do next.
