The story of MAM international collection started in 1946, even before the foundation of the Museum (1948) with a donation from Nelson Rockefeller, during important moments of modern and contemporary art, glorious and tragic moments, moments of optimism and despair, of great vitality and setbacks. A homage to artists such as Pollock, Giacometti, Arp, Fontana, Brancusi, amongst many more.
