Who are the mysterious ladies and why are they in a library in Mussoorie? Why do the monkeys prowl the corridors of power and refuse to vacate North Block? Why does a Gandhi statue weep? In this bouquet of delightful stories, the author presents satires, anecdotes, memoirs and 'people' stories. Some are bite-sized stories, to which the author is partial, and a few others are longer. But all the stories are laced with the author's characteristic wit, humour and gentle satire. An enjoyable read.
