Abstract: Abstract of thesis entitled Party Institutionalization of Opposition Political Parties in Hong Kong as a Hybrid Regime submitted by YIP Wai--‐fung Andy for the degree of Master of Philosophy at the University of Hong Kong in May 2016 The thesis critically examines the party institutionalization of individual opposition political parties in Hong Kong, and reveals the difficulties within the process, hence drawing the implication for party functioning and overall prospect of democratization in Hong Kong under a hybrid political setting.
