My job was simple… Get the interview of the biggest bosshole in the tech industry, write the report, then head home. Nevermind he’s the brother of my best friend. The boy who terrorized me back in school not so long ago. I could kick myself for agreeing to this interview. Trent has known two things in the world: Technology can be molded in your hands easily and so could women. So when I find myself trapped in a room with him during a power outage, we’re forced to pass the time together. He wasn’t supposed to make my heart skip a beat. It has been quite the turn of events since yesterday. One minute I’m dreading my interview with Trent and the next I’m willing to defend him to the point of losing my job. Fingers crossed it doesn’t come to that.
