What happens when a war you never asked for falls onto your shoulders? You run away. Obviously. Revna, barely sixteen finds herself sailing the oceans and training with Ragnar's shield maidens. Several years pass and things begin to feel safe, until they become anything but. The war against the Fates is inevitable and Revna must choose, continue to hide or face the destiny that has awaited her since before her conception. Life doesn't play fair, but neither does Revna.
