The book before you presents just some choice quotes pertinent to the spiritual quest and with a brief commentary on each. The perspective being presented here is coming out of the ancient tradition of yoga, particularly the tradition of Advaita Vedanta, also known as the philosophy of nondualism. Nondualism is essentially the understanding that there is One Unchanging Reality beyond the changing names and forms of the material universe. This One Reality is nameless and formless, yet if you had to name it, you could call it God, Love, or your True Self. If that is the reality of things, one wonders, why does one need a book to tell about it, why isn’t it self-evident? Ah, yes, well, the spiritual quest is just the idea that somehow we’ve lost sight of that reality, and we need to shift our consciousness so that we can experience it once again. This book, then, is but a humble attempt to help correct your vision. In our view, there really is an end goal here. Yes, there really is a place of peace, joy, health, wealth and unconditional love that is accessible to everyone. All it takes is a little guidance to get started on the path. Then you can figure out the rest. So see this book as a non-dogmatic guide in this sense. It’s here only to help you set yourself free. The question you really need to ask yourself seriously, however, is whether you truly want to be free? If you do, yes, it is available to you. As one of our quotes says: “The truth is out there.” And it’s also in here. So what are you waiting for? Get in t/here! I also want to note that this is the first of a trilogy of quote books like this. And all 3 books will eventually add up to a year of quotes, and the quotes will also be part of an oracle deck that will also be a fun way to get a quote for the day. So thank you for being here, thank you for reading, and as always, hope it is “truly helpful” to you in some way! And just remember: The important thing is to never stop questing on!
