Author Description

A young girl named Maxine is a superhuman with the ability to amplify the powers of the people around her. She has been held captive in the basement of own home for testing and punishment, by her father who is a Hero Assist. When Maxine is rescued by two high-ranking villains her perception of heroes and villains is skewed. Alongside her new found friends she awakens her abilities of draining energy and life from the living things around her. As Maxine's power grows in this world where heroes and villains rule the streets, she has to decide which side of the line she will fall on.
