Astronauts crash-land on a world ruled by intelligent apes, where humans are enslaved. The mission's leader, Taylor, must fight for his freedom and his humanity against this oppressive society, uncovering the planet's shocking secrets. A second ship's arrival introduces new astronauts to this perilous world, escalating the conflict and raising the stakes for the survival of all involved.

This collection adapts the seminal 'Planet of the Apes' films into the vibrant style of Marvel's 1970s comics. The narrative focuses on the astronauts' disorientation and struggle for survival in a world where the societal roles of humans and apes are drastically reversed. The collected issues promise to explore the core themes of the original movies, including humanity's place in the universe and the nature of intelligence. The action-packed format is expected to appeal to fans of both the films and classic comic book storytelling.
