For eleven-year-old Marjorie, farm life in the summer is no life at all. With too much housework and baby-sitting, and with her best friend, Pam, gone to Vancouver, Marjorie is more than a little frustrated. Then Marjorie and Craig, her neighbor, make a discovery: stolen pesticides. Then the hot prairie summer just got hotter and anything but dull!!
