Author Description

Living with her significant other in the suburbs of Sacramento, California, they decide to move temporarily to a remote area in the Ruby Mountains of Nevada, where he owns a small ranch, in order to complete a ranch house intended for vacation use. A year of unforeseen challenges ensue. When he hints he wants to live there permanently, the author has a decision to make. Does she want to live this isolated lifestyle with the man she loves, or return to her familiar and comfortable city life alone?
