David Halls, Director of Music at Salisbury Cathedral, wrote this charming and varied set of pieces to commemorate the 800th anniversary of the transition of Salisbury Cathedral from Old Sarum to its current position. As with his Hymn Tune Suite and Christmas Tune Suite, expect some unusual harmonies, and writing that falls well under the fingers and feet.
