The paucity of available works that depict the male viewpoint in the wake of a breakup initiated by a woman often gives the impression that it is only men who walk out of a relationship. It seems only fair that the balance should be in some small way redressed and that one of the most testing traumas a man can undergo is more widely recognised.Maybe it will help some to know they're not alone and it can act as the slim, simple volume that the author couldn't find, leaving him with no choice but to write it.
