Author Description

For women, a career in medicine can be very rewarding. As five female physicians, we know this is true. We are Drs. Angela Walker, Diane Boykin, Jessica Osborn, Leah Matthews, and Sylvia Morris. We came together while attending Georgetown University School of Medicine during 1992-1997. We entered medicine because we each had a dream of helping others, exploring our love of science, and becoming financially stable. However, even with all the rewards of medicine, there are frustrations as well. In this inspirational, informative book, we will guide you to the rewards and highlight the frustrations of medicine from a woman’s perspective.
