
In her later years, Rose Kennedy was visited by a friend who made the following comment: "You've been through so much. How do you find the strength to go on?" Mrs. Kennedy reportedly said: "Every day I wake up in the morning, march over to the window, shake my fist at the heavens and say 'I WILL NOT BE DEFEATED!' Great story, showing us how words can invigorate us, stir us, motivate us, compel us. If you have spent time listening to Dr. Jordan Peterson, you know that he shares eloquent insights, capturing truths that catalyze. When we understand the contours of reality properly we know what to do. Quotes can function like a shot in the arm. We can use them to get on track and keep on track. I thought, 'why not pepper Peterson's quotations in a planner so we can encounter the ideas at the same moment that we decide how to spend time?' When you work with your weekly planner, you are aiming yourself somewhere. Are you aiming where you want to go? Remember that feeling that you get when you listen to Peterson, when the ideas register, when clarity lands and you see what you need to do? Imagine "what your life could be like if you organized the smallest element to the largest element." Will this be the year that you give everything you do your 'all'? What would your life be like if you were 'all in'? Imagine Peterson looking over your shoulder as you plan your year. At the end of the notes section, find pages titled "Achievements." As the saying goes, "that which gets inspected, gets respected." As you move through the year, each time you achieve something or finish a project, curate progress! Why don't planners encourage us to keep a list of successes? Shouldn't we have a way of marinating in our accomplishments? Isn't it helpful to list what has been achieved, to date? As well, at the back find a place where you can list books you plan to read this year and then check them off when you have read them. Shouldn't every person have such
