Author Description

This small book is a joint project between my partner and me. In 2022, we began a nomadic lifestyle, moving from place to place. Our first destination was Turkey, which we had always known would be the starting point. "A Trip" captures some of our early experiences upon arriving there. At the time, we had no idea where we would go next. Ultimately, our travels came to an end in Mauritius, after two years and two months on the road. Shortly before leaving Mauritius to return to the UK, my partner and I embarked on a cycling trip around the island (Mauritius is an island nation). "Three Northern Islands, Came into View Once Again" is a group of poems inspired by that ride. Now, we've decided to print this book and share it with friends who might enjoy it.
