A comprehensive & practical guide to becoming an interior designer and the fundamentals you need to know. In this 1st volume of FLOURISH. I take a comprehensive look at what interior design is and the processes involved in creating an interior design project. We take a brief look at history, designing for space and function, selecting materials & finishes, working with colour and texture, creating a design plan and then putting it all together. This book should be considered an educational book and guide to becoming an interior designer covering various facets of the profession and insights that are useful to know and not a 'vignette' book. The guide is laid out in easy to access portions and designed for quick referencing or review. I plan to develop a 2nd volume in the future that specializes with more depth on the various facets involved.
