In a visual poem, language is the essence; and the verbal language functions as an accompaniment to the image. In a visual poem, not only the words are involved; but also typography, letters, space, color (or the lack of ), as part of the poem. In a visual poem, the verbal and the iconic meaning converge and mutually exploit. I aim to make the eyes feel, not using the letters as a simple media, but as the significance. Seeking to dismember, reassemble, subsume, dislocate the letters of the word to regain their individual identity without losing sight of the meaning of the whole.... Placing the words on the tightrope, unbalancing and moving its gravitational point to enable us to see the center of their peripheries; its nature as stroke, rather than as point and long before as meaning. Using layered layers, visual elements, colors, textures to make letter, words and thoughts to speak, feel, and vibrate by their self; intertwined to form a kind of metalanguage which operates in a dissimilar way. In this journey I intend to seduce, backward and forward, the magic of palindromes: a word, a phrase, whose meaning may be interpreted the same way in either onward or inverse direction, by creating a new tone.
