When people talk about angels, they usually talk about the Archangels; mighty, larger than life, their strength known to keep evil at bay. But, there are many kinds of angels, created to do many types of things, all with a divine purpose. Dominions and Virtues were created to ensure human survival from the very thing that supports their existence; the earth. Without these particular angels, all would be lost during hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, and other natural disasters. These deeds and actions often go unseen, unnoticed as they blend in as ordinary human beings. The results? Miracles that seem to come out of nowhere, sometimes called coincidence, or even luck. These angels, also know as the underdogs or the red headed step children of the Goddess, have been known to be wild and unruly at times, straying off task. Angels that adversely affect humankind were sent to earth as earth angels to learn how to be better children of the Goddess. Chrisiel was in Cantina; a wealthy port city on Sicily's east coast. The square was packed as the festival of St. Agatha was in full swing; it was almost 7 PM. The ground began to shake... Then, she was crawling out of a giant crater hole; fire lined both sides of her. As her eyes came into focus, a cave; familiar, painful, forbidden. Finding herself on earth without her wings, memories, or a purpose, Chrisiel must adjust to a new name, new identity, and figuring out where she belongs and how she fits in. Several people help her along the way including a fellow earth angel called Jake. The more time she spends with him, the more she feels there is something between them. As her one year mark approaches, her life as an earth angels takes a dramatic turn as individuals from Jake's past threaten her life and human existence as a whole. This is her story.
