Author Description

Raised on the grounds of a cathedral, Paul Vickery grows up with architecture in his soul and a vision of the hidden Better Country in his eyes. After toying with materialism at university, his old vision is reawakened by a Masonic initiation, and he trains for his life's work — the building of a great church. Directing a curious assortment of artists, his plan is always before his eyes — until romance clouds his vision and threatens to derail the great work.
