When Bonnie met Clyde (real names changed, obvs.) it was as though the stars had aligned (they had). Clyde was a breath of fresh air in what Bonnie had perceived as the otherwise staid, stifling, and stilted environment of the practice of law. Clyde was a promise of a life that Bonnie had always felt was way out of reach. This pre-destined meeting led to all manner of hedonistic high jinks and a life of luxury and excess. And death. There's always death. For a time, all was good; all seemed good. Bonnie was, indeed, it seemed, introduced to a life beyond their wildest dreams where all their prayers were answered. And then shit got weird... I've worked in the law since the mid-to-late 1990s. What is set out herein may or may not be the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. So help me God.
