Author Description

The works contained herein are short adaptations of eight of Shakespeare's plays. They use Shakespeare's language, but are not meant to substitute for full readings of the plays. Rather, they're meant as supplements to the study of the plays and an opportunity for young actors to get a taste of Renaissance language. They are also intended to give other students a quick, clear, exciting introduction to Shakespeare.
