Taking about 45 minutes, this test covers national curriculum levels 2-7, and matches the "programme of study" and scheme of work. It is quick to score, using acetate scoring keys, and gives a national curriculum level for each pupil (subdivided a-c), plus a standardized score and percentile, and diagnostic profiles. It is especially directed at use with mixed-ability groups, allowing all pupils to show their strengths but motivating lower-ability children, and can also be used for screening on entry to secondary school, identifying those pupils for whom catch-up provision needs to be made, and giving a check on Key Stage 2 attainments. The 10 test booklets in this pack are reusable.
