The cold kept coming. The snow kept falling. The wind kept blowing, whistling in my ears. Never ending snow filled the air around me and froze me. It landed on the pine trees around us. In desperation, we had skinned them for food and now their bare trunks were covered with snow. I was starving, thirsty, and I knew was going to die, just like the others had. There was no use in calling for help. There's no one to help me here. I was all alone.
