Recurrence of a solar superstorm like the 1859 Carrington Event could blackout electric grids and other life-sustaining critical infrastructures worldwide, putting at risk the lives of billions. WILL AMERICA BE PROTECTED? is a report to the American people on the progress, or lack of progress, being made protecting U.S. electric grids and other critical infrastructures from the existential threat that is EMP.
