Becoming a police officer was not my goal in life. I had been a community activist, a working mom; and being a police officer was not in my site.The Hogue decent was the reason for me taking the job. I was one of three women that participated in a Class Action Lawsuit against the city and we won.I was the second Black Female hired by the City of Denver and the first Black Female Undercover Vice and Narcotics Detective.My life was more important than the job. In 1979 resigned because of political corruption.
