This book entails my journey through the months leading to my baby's birth. It touches base with many of the myths related to pregnancy and depicts their widespread prevalence in our society, even today. It, however, does not agree or disagree with any such myth. It is just a simple take on my experience through the maze of these myths and how expecting mothers can find ways to take it all with a pinch of salt. Every such story revolves around a particular myth and also tries to provide scientific information available in public domain that supports/ or not, the same. This is a book that is neither heavy on the heart, nor the mind, and will make many of you re-live your own pregnancy experiences surrounding the theme. It can also be a revelation to many of you who are still contemplating pregnancy or have just been a few weeks into the same. To sum it up, it has allowed me an opportunity to hold on to my memories of this period. While we all strive to create beautiful memories from the moment our child is born...this once takes our memory book back two steps and adds on some more leaflets to the same. Yes, the journey that we traversed together...both me and my unborn child...held due relevance. And, I would want to offer him a link to the same, when he grows up. Wouldn't you?
