This monograph establishes the ethno-linguistic character of a geographical region of Iran between c.1000 and 600 BC. Focusing on prosopographical and onomastic evidence only, Zadok isolates 221 individuals and 475 toponyms from the collation of source material. Comparative material is also discussed and some brief conclusions are drawn.
