In Andhra Pradesh, especially in regard to finances of Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation, a comprehensive study has not been conducted so far. Therefore the researcher has taken up a comprehensive research study on the finances of Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation during the period 1995 -2010.
