Author Description

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 13th International Symposium on Methodologies for Intelligent Systems, ISMIS 2002, held in Lyon, France, in June 2002. The 63 revised full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from around 160 submissions.
