A humorous and laugh-out-loud collection of anecdotes chronicling the attempts of one man and his exasperated wife as he tries new skills and experiences to fill in his Covid lockdown days which seemed to stretch endlessly ahead of them. Ray & Val have been married for many years, but up until March 2020, they happily enjoyed their own pursuits and hobbies. However, when 'lockdown' was announced, their disparate worlds came crashing together as they were forced to spend their days and nights with only each other for company. This hilarious and tender collection of Ray's disastrous attempts to learn to cook, amongst other new skills and exploits, is heart warming and pure comedy gold. Publishing them on Facebook for his friends and loved-ones to read, the stories gained in popularity. One day, a friend suggested he turn them into a blog, but this proved to be more complicated than someone like him - in his mid seventies - could manage.
