Three legionnaires escape a massacre to find themselves the captives of a lost desert civilisation. All three have secrets: one is a traitor. The key to the mystery lies in events that occurred years ago on another continent. Will any of the legionnaires escape the Valley of the Azzi and warn Commandant Le Boucher of the traitor in their ranks? Will they ever return to civilisation?
