
Abstract: Suggestions for growing health foods are provided in a guide featuring 13 chapters. The first 2 chapters discuss the health aspects associated with freshly-grown foods and the body's nutrient requirements. The 3rd chapter suggests ways to grow health foods without a garden, such as using window boxes. Chapter 4 describes preparation of the soil. Chapters 5-11 discuss different health values and uses of fruits and vegetables. Chapter 12 discusses food preservation by freezing.
