Peggy set out on her journey at around age seven. Coming from a broken home, she found stability through adoption and loving parents at the age of twelve. Bible College prepared her for mission work, after which she eventually set out on a journey across the sea to Africa. When unrest broke out there, she was forced to look for another way to serve in God's work. Marriage to Cal took her to Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, where they taught school and adopted two children. After ten years she returned to the States with her family. The journey led to Florida, then Maine and even Minnesota, where she later built a cabin in the woods. Married to Wally, they lived in the woods without electricity or running water for eight years, then when medical issues made living in the woods unwise, they set out for the south, ending up in New Mexico, where they lived for over ten years. Always with a mind to serve, she found ways to help the elderly. After the passing of her husband Wally, she decided to remain in New Mexico. Her life-story has its up and downs, but her faith in God proves a blessing through them all. She shares her story to bring hope to those who struggle in life's uncertainties.
