A lonely doll-artisan hopeful finds his quiet life disrupted when a popular classmate enlists his help for her elaborate cosplay projects. Wakana Gojo, traumatized by a childhood incident involving dolls, isolates himself and finds solace in his high school's home economics room. His solitary existence is shattered when the vibrant and outgoing Marin Kitagawa discovers his hidden talent for sewing. Marin, a trendsetter who seems to exist in a different social sphere, pulls Wakana into her passion for cosplay, forcing him to confront his past trauma and step out of his shell.

The premise sets up a classic 'opposites attract' dynamic, likely focusing on the development of an unlikely friendship and romance between the shy, skilled Wakana and the outgoing, fashion-forward Marin. The narrative appears to center on their shared creative endeavors in cosplay, offering opportunities for both humor and character growth as Wakana confronts his past. The story's progression will likely involve Wakana learning to open up and trust others, while Marin might discover a deeper appreciation for Wakana's unique talents and quiet strength. The blend of slice-of-life elements with the specific hobby of cosplay suggests a focus on relatable challenges and the joy of shared passions.
