Author Description

Hinda Mendalstahm is a college student in the early 90s who is steeped in a subculture of punk rock and political activism. With a Reagan-era hangover and an expulsion from university, she's ready to start over again in Cincinnati. What she expected was a regular life, something a little more wheat bread and Middle American, and a place to get herself together. But she discovers that when the nation isn't paying attention to your town, the Underground flourishes. Chrysanthemum is an emotional savenger hunt through an Ohio on the edge.
