This video, filmed in 1997, is the fourth of the McGraw-Hill Satellite Teleconferences in Second Language Acquisition. The focus of this video is the role of grammar instruction in the communicative language classroom. (The 1998 Teleconference video also examined this issue.) Specific topics discussed include different approaches to grammatical instruction and the effects of instruction on language acquisition. Panelists include moderator Gerald L.
