We had to pay dearly in discovering that ignorant and unscrupulous growers give almost any name to their stock of Cannas, as long as the color is somewhere near correct. To them any red is a New Chicago, any yellow a Florence Vaughan etc. Our Cannas are true to name, ' and furthermore, the stock We use for propagation hasbeen specially selected on points of vigor, true type, color, equality of height and size of owers. In our list of sorts will be found all the good old standard kinds, and many of the best novelties, the inferior varieties being discarded every year as the merits oi the newer ones are proven.
