Author Description

David Toy was Chief Engineer at Brighton Borough Transport from June 1974 to February 1982. Since 2009 he has worked on a history of the buses, trams and trolleybuses up the time of the Go Ahead takeover in 1987. This is the result, a large format book including both colour and black and white illustrations to accompany an authoritative text. Two beautiful paintings by Chris Drew grace the front and back covers of the book.
