Join us as we take a deeper look into the history of Hamar, the city of the Gods. But why do we refer to it as such? Who were the Asa gods and what were they really doing in Hamar? In Hamar we find Norway’s largest Christian buildings from the Middle Ages, but what is hiding underneath? Why are the entrances of old sealed so that no one can get in there? What is being kept hidden? The gods lived, amongst other places, in and around Hamar. But they were not alone; The gods had helpers known as elves and when the gods left, their helpers stayed behind, becoming known as the grey people. We know this for sure because in Norway there are numerous Court records with cases between the grey people and humans. However, in the early 19th century, they disappeared more and more from Norway as well. Only to appear on the American continent with a completely different lifestyle and a new agenda...
