Author Description

This gentle ABC book features soft and delicately illustrated vignettes for every letter of the alphabet. Within each page, a young child and baby stand next to their respective capital and lower-case letters, surrounded by a frame entwined with plants and animals representing the particular letter. Clear and deft calligraphy labels each plant and animal within the frame, and encourages a young, curious mind to learn and grow. A stunning and -tender picture book, graceful in its simplicity. Sandra Griffin lives in Ellisville, Missouri, where she draws, paints, writes and teaches. Sandra is a graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute and the mother of four sons. This is her second children's book.
