Debra, Brandon’s wife, had enough of his arrogant attitude and decided to stay home, to be close to her son’s family. Linda, Debra’s best friend, left her husband Elliot after he lost his ability to use his left hand because of a car accident. Both couples had their share of issues with their respective children. Far away Lillian, Elliot’s sister, had major crises with her granddaughter – Nora, who fell in love with Josef, a Muslim. The Corona pandemic impacted the lives of all, from Ron, Debra’s son, who was about to declare bankruptcy, to Nora, who disallowed her husband Josef to be next to her and their son – Jeff-Anand, because of Josef’s work at the hospital. Death, jail, loss of income, and betrayal marred the lives of many. Life continued, and the first signs of recuperation in families and social relationships appeared. Do they point to a better future?
