TThis book was originally created by a famous Indian poet and scholar Harivansh Rai 'Bachchan' and is out of print now. the book was created in one of the main north Indian languages, Awadhi, and was named JAN GITA. Awadhi language has spiritual potency but not too many people can understand. Dr. Prasad revived it from archives and put a Hindi meaning in the Bhagavad Gita (JAN GITA) so that Hindi (the national language of India) knowing people can get the meaning as well as enjoy its melody. Awadhi is is language that was used by Saint Tulasi Das who wrote Ramayana and is sung all over India. Ramayana also has Hindi meaning attached. It is hoped that the son of senior Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan, who has a golden voice and is a well known actor in Bollywood would promote it.
