Allissa Sandford Way is a stay-at-home mom. She currently homeschools her son Jack and daughter Caroline. She wrote this children's book after her daughter came home and told her about a scary storm experience. Allissa wrote this book to help comfort her children while her husband John, was on tour for a year in Iraq. Perry the Palm Tree and the Day of Bad Weather is Allissa's first published work.
