Common Divinity explores themes of grief, self love, and family through the use of Judeo-Christian imagery and themes of food. With a number of ekphrastic pieces, this work also examines the translation between art and emotion. The collection moves through the search for divinity in the narrator's life in three acts, starting with the father and ending with the self.
