A year ago, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in partnership with the American University of Beirut, opened the Children's Cancer Clinic to treat Lebanese and Syrian children. This marked the fulfillment of the dream of our founder Danny Thomas, who was of Lebanese ancestry, to bring the science and technology of St. Jude to the land of his ancestors. St. Jude covers all medical costs not covered by insurance, regardless of ability to pay. Book jacket.
