This unique book uses actual litigation documents and contexts so that students learn doctrine and skills in a real-life setting. Rule and statute deconstruction, case reading, and organizing/synthesizing materials are explicitly taught along with doctrine and are linked to law practice tasks. Introductory materials in each section provide a framework for understanding the material, and questions and exercises help students apply the materials to further their understanding.
