In recent years there have been extensive changes in the teaching of psychodiagnostics in clinical psychology and related professions. One of the major changes in this area has been the increasing interest in the field of clinical neuropsychology, the study of the relationship between the brain and behaviour. This has been accompanied by increasing interest in and teaching of the Halstead-Reitan Neuropsychological Test Battery in over half of the clinical psychology training programs today.
