Author Description

This study of the manuscript tradition of the Twelve Prophets (Hosea-Malachi) in the ancient Syriac Peshitta version of the Old Testament, examines the relationships between the biblical manuscripts of this Book, which differ in some respects from patterns discerned in other Books. The work also evaluates the Peshitta version in relation to its Hebrew Vorlage and to other ancient versions, particularly the Septuagint and the Targum Jonathan.
